Vodafone is pleased to invite you to the launch of an innovative new approach to enhance young people's prospects in the digital economy. With more than 70 million young people unemployed globally and hundreds of thousands of digital roles unfilled in the EU, it is a critical time for youth, employers and society.
Hosted by Vodafone Group Chief Executive Vittorio Colao, the event will discuss these challenges and present the findings of a ground-breaking global youth study, commissioned by Vodafone among 18-24 year-olds across 15 countries.
We are pleased to have keynote addresses by EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society Mariya Gabriel and Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales, and panel discussions featuring Deputy Director of the Directorate for Education and Skills and Head of the Centre for Skills OECD Montserrat Gomendio, psychologist, author and broadcaster Dr Linda Papadopoulos, Chief Economist at Indeed Jed Kolko and others.
