TINALP - 5G Education
Together we can help create new ways of learning. Vodafone Italy’s Action For 5G initiative invited startups, small and medium-sized enterprises and social businesses to contribute to a project that could be developed or strengthened with Vodafone 5G technology.
TINALP is an outcome from that invitation, enabling an immersive Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality e-Learning experience to empower new ways of learning through services such as mobile cloud classroom and virtual presence. Thanks to Vodafone’s 5G mobile network, students around the world will be able to attend lessons from their own locations.
In our first video, Lesson Creation, a teacher builds a lesson and imports 3D video content.
Lessons are created in a simple and intuitive way, with the possibility to import 2D and 3D images, access personalised training and play unique content, such as volumetric 3D video to transport pupils anywhere in the world.
In the second video, Lesson Execution, a teacher conducts an interactive lesson to a group of pupils.
Thanks to 5G’s low latency and high bandwidth, the immersive experience is more realistic, enabling teachers to retrieve real-time information about each student in order to shape tuition to their specific needs and capabilities.
